FINDING SUPPORT
Hosted by Eleanor Chaney

Find support as an HSP creative with people who get it.
Join creativity coach and artist Eleanor for this monthly gathering of likeminded thoughtful, sensitive souls.
This month the topic was:
Finding Support As A Sensitive Creative - How can you create a system of support that enables you to thrive as a sensitive creative?
Being a creative is often represented in popular culture as a lone pursuit, working away alone in a room until the early hours of the morning. But even if you prefer to connect with your art form alone, the truth is we all need support along our creative journey.
As a sensitive creative your support needs might be different from the āhelpā youāve been offered in the past from educational environments or even those around you. This last Sensitive Creatives Meetup of the year is all about identifying what support you need as the wonderful individual you are, and looking at how you can create a system of support that will enable you to thrive.
In this meetup we explored:
āØ What our old stories are around finding help and support as a creative, and how we can rewrite these.
āØ What different forms of support are out there for you as a creative, and which of these will be most in alignment with you needs as a sensitive person.
āØ How you can identify the kinds of support you might need to help you create and share your art.
Letās find the support we need to thrive as
the sensitive creatives we are!
Hello sensitive creative!
Iām Eleanor Chaney - an artist and creativity coach with 15 years experience in sharing the creative process with thousands of people.
Iām also a highly sensitive creative who understand the challenges of being a sensitive artist. But with this experience Iāve come to see my sensitivity as one of my biggest strengths.
Iāve been a self-employed artist since 2009 and my own journey has included:
- Working as a full time artist, sharing my own artwork through exhibitions, residencies, funded projects and through selling work online.
- Gaining qualifications in art up to MA level, in counselling skills, and as a teacher and trainer for people aged 16+ in the arts.
- Working as a creative practitioner teaching art and craft subjects for people of all ages including in formal education, community and adult education, for museums, galleries and arts organisations.
I support sensitive creatives to embrace who they are, find the approaches that work with their personality, and learn to trust themselves on their creative path
so they can make what really matters to them.
