The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics in the form of your name and email address contact details when you sign up to our mailing list.

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics in the form of your name and email address if you sign up to attend one of our online courses or events. We also ask coaching clients to provide their phone number and address on contracts.

• Anonymous data such as geographical location, age range, pages visited and duration of visit are collected by Squarespace Analytics and Convertkit to enable us to track the success of the project, and to meet the criteria of our funders.
  

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• You have signed up to our mailing list.

• You have signed up to participate in one of our online courses, events, or mentoring and coaching programmes.

• You have purchased a physical product from our online shop.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

• Your name and profile picture will be displayed and shared by Facebook with us our if you choose to follow our Facebook page ‘Eleanor Chaney’ or our Facebook Group ‘Nature Wonderers’ or ‘The Highly Sensitive Creatives Community’.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:

• Send you updates and information about Eleanor Chaney’s work, and related courses and products by email using Squarespace Marketing and Convertkit.

• Share information about our upcoming Facebook Events via Facebook if you choose to follow the page Eleanor Chaney or our Facebook Groups ‘Nature Wonderers’ or ‘The Highly Sensitive Creatives Community’.

We will share anonymous statistical information and anonymous information in the form of feedback quotes online as part of our business analysis and marketing. Any quotes from email or Zoom communication will be used with your express consent.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored by Squarespace at www.eleanorchaney.com, through Convertkit at eleanor-chaney.ck.page and in our secure documents and databases in Notion.

We will store your name and email address until you ask to be removed from the mailing list. We will then dispose your information by deleting all your data from our marketing database.

Any information you submit to our Facebook page or groups is under your own responsibility and this data is stored by Facebook.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
